Welcome in Manila !!!!!

Its my first time to come to Manila. I go with Kumala she my friends from Borneo Tarakan University. At the airport we met 2 exchange students from Indonesia precisely from banjarmasin. We arrived on January 13 and waited around 1 hour for immigration because this day coincided with Sunday so many tourists from outside who wanted to vacation in the Philippines. Actually i'm very afraid to come to a country that is a Muslim minority. Because some countries hate Islam, but after a few hours at the airport we meet with Muslims. and they asked from Malaysia we said from Indonesia. they are very friendly, they say welcome to the Philippines. I began to feel comfortable in the Philippines. I thought this was a very interesting trip. But our journey still has to continue to the city of Ilo-Ilo. let's go.......

At 5:00 a.m., we arrived in the city of Ilo-Ilo and the weather was very cold, it felt like entering a refrigerator. we were picked up by Mrs. Nemz and Mrs. Layz. because we were the first to come so we spent time resting. At night we take a walk with friends from the Philippines. I almost forgot that the first time I recognized myself with them was very funny because there was one face of a friend like an Indonesian. they are exchange students in Batch 6, some in Palembang, Bogor, Yogyakarta and others. So, there was someone who introduced himself that he was handsome, his name was actually Marqin who was sad. some of them like Indonesian food such as bakwan, nasi padang, meatballs, fried rice and others. because it's hard to say their names, sometimes I call him Rice Padang :) I'm sorry, Roger. I love you . okay next first time riding the motorcycle version of Ilo-Ilo, riding the jepneey is very interesting in my opinion. because there is nothing in Indonesia. We went to eat at Mang Inasal, and ordered the Peccho as roasted chicken and we ordered this halo like Indonesian mixed ice. oh, the one I really like about Mang Inasal is unly rice. It's very amazing, in Indonesia there is nothing like this. the first day at Ilo-Ilo was very beautiful.

Today some exchange students from Indonesia and Thailand arrived. Unlike us who arrived yesterday. In the morning we were invited by Buddy's breakfast around ISAT U. Some of them ate fried fish and rice, Tyas and I chose to eat lasua (contents of vegetables) i like this food. During the day we eat lunch together with all exchange student and with ISAT U president Sir Muyong in Yakimix. We love there because very much food, you just choose what you want to eat and you can cook by yourself. Some of them arrived late, when we were busy telling them there was an exchange student coming and asking you which campus. That shocked us because we thought he was from Thailand. And it turns out he is from Bogor, only he can speak Thai. We have 30 exchange students, around 12 of us were transferred to Miagao Campus and 2 people were transferred to Dumangas Campus. Including my friend from Borneo Tarakan University Kumala ... so sad because i will be alone here without my friend from Tarakan. In afternoon we returned to the dorm Ma'am Layz and Ma’am Nemz told us what the rules were in the dorm. And sharing roommate ... my roommate from Thailand she name Janjeera Khanobkaya. Actually our first day was very awkward ... so I chose to be quiet and after Pray i immediately rested.

Today's Opening Ceremony to all exchange students in ISAT U we have to introduce ourselves. And I just found out that there are 2 more people from Kalimantan. It makes me happy because I think only me and my friend from Kalimantan. In afternoon around 03 P.M go to the department of tourism region VI and they give us souvenirs from shells, glasses and maps about IloIlo city. In the evening I started talking a lot to the janjee, we talked about the culture of the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia. And I learned Thai so even with Janjee she really liked Indonesian.

Thursday, we made the card so we like the student in ISAT U make us happy and go around in the science building i like there becauses we can learn about biotechnology. In afternoon we learned about history in IloIlo city.

Today its friday morning we go to Commission High Education in IloIlo. The funny thing is when Lim was taking a picture with one of Mr., sir asked but Lim did not understand so he asked me what sir meant. When Sir asked i thought for a long time because he said you knew about bumm, then i said what about Krakatau Mountain and he said yes. We laugh because he apparently forgot the name of Mount Krakatau. And some of my friend SEA TVET go to company they will work at it. After that we go meet the major of ilo ilo and we get a shirt and we go to eat lunch together. In afternoon we meet Ma'am Shai she talk we can not meet you are mentors because here have the exam they are busy in exam.

Today we are just going to SM city mall, is the big mall in iloilo and going to central sm to buy ika 'jacket. in afternoon i go around school again with Kimmy. And we must sleep early, because we want go to Kalibo about 4 to 5 hours from IloIlo city to Kalibo.

we woke up very early and around 3 am we must go to Kalibo we stop at Aklan State University (ASU) end use jepneey go to ati At the festival we walk and dance with them, by the way the festival is celebrated for baby jesus born so that why very much bring people sculptures like baby. Then we go to Kitty's new garden to eat and we go to Sampaguita Washington, it is beautiful there, because there are beaches, like castles, btw to go inside sampaguita gardens we must pay 50 pesos per person and we can change that to the same souvenir the price is 50 pesos if we choose above 50 pesos, we have to add more money to pay for the items taken. But we don't go to Boracay Island because we have to go back to the dorm and take a break for observing classes in Monday.
